Sebha University discusses a proposed railway line with Chad and Niger.

Sebha, June 5, 2024 (LANA) - In its sixth regular meeting of the current year, the Sebha University Council discussed holding a joint workshop between the university and the railway project implementation and management agency regarding the proposed route of the railway line with the countries of Chad and Niger.The head of the scientific committee for the workshop to be held at the university, Ahmed Muhammad Al-Hudayri, explained the role of railways and their importance in achieving sustainable spatial development of the Fezzan region.The attendees stressed the importance of the workshop and the need to highlight it by all available means, while expanding the base of participation to include those interested in Fezzan universities, and all sectors in the municipalities of the region.The University Council approved the start of preparations for the second edition of the Fezzan Technology Forum, where the attendees discussed the internal regulations of the postgraduate studies system at the College of Commerce and Political Science..
