Polish diplomatic delegation meets with the Libyan Foreign Ministry.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, June 5, 2024 (Lana): A delegation from the Polish Foreign Ministry, headed by the Director of the Africa and Middle East Department, Jacek Chodrowicz, discussed during his meeting with the Director of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdulrahman Khamada, the necessary arrangements to reopen the Polish Embassy in Tripoli and resume its activities, including the consular section for granting Chengen visas to Libyans.
The meeting reviewed the historical bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in line with the current stage and serve the common interests of both countries, according to the GNU Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its Facebook page.
During the meeting, the Polish delegation expressed his country's desire to strengthen friendship and bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, stressing Poland's interest in actively contributing to supporting Libya in various economic and development areas.
The meeting concluded with a press conference during which the depth of historical bilateral relations was emphasized.
The conference also witnessed the head of the Polish delegation announcing his country's desire to reopen the Polish Embassy in Tripoli.
