Seoul, June 4, 2024 (LANA) - Representative of the Presidential Council, Moussa Al-Koni, met today, Tuesday, on the sidelines of the Kuwait-Africa Summit held in South Korea, Seoul, the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and the President of the African Union, Mohamed Ould Al-Ghazouani.
During the meeting, which was attended by the person in charge of managing the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Taher Baour, the Representative reviewed with the Mauritanian President the objectives of the summit and the benefits that will accrue to the African continent, especially in the areas of investment, development, digitization, and capacity building.
The meeting also discussed the issues of the African continent and the efforts made by the African Union to achieve stability there.
President Ghazawi affirmed the African Union's continued support for the efforts of the Presidential Council in the national reconciliation project, which has reached advanced stages.
