Al-Lafi discusses the reconciliation project with a delegation of notables and sheikhs of Bani Walid

Tripoli, June 4, 2024 (LANA) - Today, Tuesday, the representative of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, discussed with representatives of the Council of Notables and Sheikhs of Libya, the branch of the city of Bani Walid, the importance of the participation of sheikhs and notables in the national reconciliation project, and supporting the efforts of the Presidential Council in making this file a success and promoting social peace.

During the meeting, Al-Lafi pointed out the importance of national ownership of the project, through the contribution of Libyan experts and academics in its preparation.

For their part, the notables and sheikhs praised Al-Lafi’s efforts in the national reconciliation project, stressing their support for all the efforts of the Presidential Council to restore confidence between all political parties through this national project.
