Al-Koni meets with the Prime Minister of South Korea on the sidelines of the Africa-Korea summit.
Pulbished on:Seoul, June 3, 2024 (Lana): On the sidelines of the Africa-Korea summit held in Seoul, Representative of the Presidential Council Musa Al-Koni met today with South Korean Prime Minister Han Duk-soo to discuss developing prospects for cooperation between the two friendly countries in many areas, especially economic and capacity building.
During the meeting, which was attended by the GNU Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge, Al-Taher Al-Baour, they emphasized coordinating Korean-African efforts in the area of investment and development in Africa, of which Korea will be one of its branches.
The PM affirmed that his country, through its membership in the Security Council, continues to support Libya's position to contribute to its stability.
It was agreed to coordinate efforts for South Korea's contribution to development and reconstruction projects in Libya and to benefit from the Korean experience in this area.
Han Duk-soo announced the completion of arrangements with the Libyan side for the full staff of his country's embassy to begin its work from Tripoli.
