Tripoli, June 2, 2024 (LANA) - Representative of the Presidential Council, “Abdullah Al-Lafi,” met this evening, Sunday, with the Chargé d’Affairs of the United States Embassy in Libya, “Jeremy Brent,” and the accompanying delegation.

The meeting discussed developments in the political process in Libya, ways to resolve the Libyan crisis, and restore stability and peace to the country, through a complete political project that addresses all controversial points, in addition to a number of international and regional issues of concern to the two countries.

During the meeting, the US Chargé d'Affaires affirmed his country's support for stability in Libya, in line with the efforts of the UN mission to perform its tasks, achieve stability, and meet the aspirations of the Libyan people.
