Seoul, June 2, 2024 (Lana) The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Al-Taher Al-Baour, participated today in the meeting of the Korea-Africa Foreign Ministers’ Conference in Seoul, South Korea, ahead of the Korea-Africa summit on June 4–5.

The meeting was jointly chaired by the Korean Assistant Vice Foreign Minister, Jung Byung-wan, and the Mauritanian Ambassador to Japan, in the presence of senior officials from 44 African countries.

The meeting will discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the Korean and African sides in dealing with international crises such as health, climate change, supply chain disruptions, and peace and security.
