Benghazi, June 01, 2024 (LANA) - The Benghazi Security Directorate announced the arrest of two people who were promoting drugs in one of the city’s areas.

According to the Directorate, during their tour, members of the General Investigation Department were able to arrest two people on board a motor vehicle, who were selling drugs and hallucinogenic pills in the Shabna area of ​​Benghazi.

During interrogation, the defendants confessed to drug trafficking and were referred to the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Agency; the Directorate added.
