Al-Koni meets Turkish ambassador.

Tripoli, June 01, 2024 (LANA) - Representative of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, received today, Saturday, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Libya, “Kanaan Yilmaz,” on the occasion of the end of his term in Libya.

 The ambassador praised the fruitful cooperation he sought from the Presidential Council throughout his term, which contributed to developing cooperative relations between the two countries in many fields, stressing his country's continued support for the Council's efforts aimed at achieving stability in Libya.

In turn, the Representative of the Presidential Council, conveyed to the Ambassador the greetings of the Presidential Council of the State of Turkey, the leadership and the people, wishing the Ambassador success in the tasks that will be assigned to him in the future.

 Al-Koni affirmed, according to the Presidential Council, that Libyan-Turkish relations are characterized by friendliness and respect, and work continues to consolidate them, in a way that serves the interests of the two countries.
