Tripoli, June 1, 2024 (Lana) Deputy Representative of the Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Acting Head of UNSMIL, Stephanie Koury, discussed yesterday with the UAE Ambassador to Libya, Mohammed Al-Shamsi, supporting stability efforts and advancing the political process in Libya.

"We discussed supporting stability efforts and advancing Libya's political process, including holding elections to give Libyans a voice in shaping the future of their country and addressing their needs," Koury said in a tweet.
