Tripoli, May 30, 2030 (LANA) - Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, discussed with the President of the Tunisian Republic, Kais Saied, the executive procedures for opening the Ras Jadeer border crossing and mechanisms to support the private sector in the two countries.

 This came during a meeting on the sidelines of the tenth session of the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum held in the Chinese capital, Beijing.

 According to a government post on its Facebook page on Thursday, the two sides agreed on the need to urge the ministries of the interior in the two countries to carry out the tasks assigned to them for the opening, and to complete the maintenance and development work carried out by the Libyan side.

For his part, President Saeed confirmed directing the Tunisian authorities to complete the file of similarity of names and facilitate procedures for Libyan citizens heading to Tunisia.

They also noted the need to support the private sector in the two countries in the field of health, general contracting and industry by facilitating government procedures related to the smooth flow of work and cooperation in the two countries.

 It is noteworthy that the meeting was attended by the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Adel Gomaa, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar.
