Benghazi, May 29, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister-designate of the House of Representatives, “Osama Hammad,” met yesterday, Tuesday, with the committee in charge of comprehensive reconciliation in the city of Murzuq, in accordance with Resolution No. (67) of 2024, which is headed by the Minister of Defense, “Ahmed Houma.”

The government media office said that "Hammad" received during the meeting the committee's report on public and private property, which was inventoried by the Public Prosecutor's Office in the city of Murzuq.

During the meeting, it was also discussed that the two parties invited the Tebu and the people to a meeting to discuss completing the terms of the reconciliation agreement, which took place last April, and briefing the committee on the remainder of its work, and the time period for completing all its tasks.

Hammad praised the work of the committee and the cooperation of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in achieving national reconciliation, pledging to refer the results of the committee’s work and the inventory submitted to the Development and Reconstruction Fund, to begin rebuilding the city, launching projects and maintenance in it, so that after achieving reconciliation between Its social structures and launching the wheel of reconstruction and maintenance are an example to be emulated at the level of Libyan cities and regions.
