The Presidency of the Audit Bureau is following up on the procedures for preparing the general annual report for the year 2023.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, May 28, 2024 (LANA) - The head of the Audit Bureau, “Khaled Shakshak,” and the Undersecretary of the Bureau, “Alaa Al-Masalati,” followed today, Tuesday, the procedures for completing public administrations’ submission of their annual reports, and referring them to the Reports Office, to reformulate them in the form of the general annual report for the year 2023.
According to the official page of the Audit Bureau, the head of the Bureau stressed the need for technical departments to adhere to the deadlines for submitting their reports, taking into account adherence to the approved standards for drafting and publishing... stressing the necessity of notifying the entities subject to oversight and studying their responses carefully, with full disclosure of the observations, and opening files for violations, crimes and suspicions, corruption and verification of evidentiary evidence, in preparation for referring it to the competent authorities.
While the Undersecretary of the Bureau affirmed the Bureau’s commitment to publishing the report immediately upon completion of its preparation and approval by the Supreme Advisory Committee for approving reports in accordance with the context followed in previous years, praising the efforts of the Bureau members in the public administrations and branches in order to complete the oversight tasks entrusted to them, despite the challenges and difficulties that accompanied the completion processes.
Directors of public administrations and heads of reporting units in technical departments confirmed in this context that they had completed the completion of the reports and notifying the concerned authorities about them, and that they had begun receiving and studying the responses and taking them into account when finalizing them.
For his part, Director of the Reporting Office, Anis Al-Mujbari, confirmed that the office has completed the general framework of the report, in conjunction with its continued receipt of sectoral reports successively, explaining that the date of receiving the last report will be the end of May.
