Aguila Saleh meets with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya on the occasion of the end of his duties.

  Al-Qubba, May 28, 2024 (LANA) - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, “Aguila Saleh,” met today, Tuesday, in the city of Al-Qubba, the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, “Kanaan Yilmaz,” accompanied by the Turkish Consul in the city of Benghazi, who conveyed the sincere condolences of the Turkish President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on the death of his son.

The official spokesman for the Libyan House of Representatives, Abdullah Belhaq, said that the meeting touched on the latest developments in the situation in Libya and ways to end the current crisis, and bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.

He added, that the Turkish Ambassador, "Kanaan Yilmaz," stressed during the meeting the depth of relations between the two countries, and also emphasized that Turkish companies operate comfortably throughout Libya.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aguila Saleh, expressed his wishes of success to Ambassador Kanaan Yilmaz on the occasion of the end of his work duties in Libya.
