A delegation from the Interior Ministry discusses security cooperation between Libya and France in Paris.

Paris, May 28, 2024 (Lana) A high-level delegation from the Interior Ministry discussed with the French Director of International Security Cooperation the reactivation of security cooperation between the two countries.

According to the Facebook page of the Libyan Embassy in Paris, the meeting discussed French-Libyan cooperation in the areas of technical support and training, combating illegal migration and securing borders, combating organized crime, and exchanging information between the two sides.

The delegation also met with the directors of investigative agencies specializing in combating migration, drug smuggling, and organized crime, where the French side stressed the importance of enhancing the exchange of its expertise for the benefit of the two countries.

The Libyan delegation visited the Libyan Embassy's headquarters in Paris, where it was received by the Chargé d'Affaires, Fathi Omaima, and members of the Libyan mission in Paris.
