Takala and the German Minister of State for Foreign Affairs discuss cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, May 26, 2024 (LANA) - The President of the High Council of State, “Mohamed Takala,” accompanied by members of the Presidential Office and the Chairman of the Council’s Political Committee, “Abdelaziz Hariba,” received today, Sunday, the Minister of State at the German Foreign Ministry, the Deputy Foreign Minister, and a member of the German Parliament, Katia Cowell, accompanied by a delegation consisting of Political Advisor Markus Lubavinsky, Deputy Head of the Maghreb Department at the German Foreign Ministry, Anita Bölking, the German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Unmacht, and a number of embassy officials, at the Council’s headquarters.
According to the media office of the High Council of State, during the meeting, relations of cooperation between the two countries and ways to strengthen them were discussed. Developments in the political situation in Libya and ways to achieve a sound democratic path leading to consensual elections that meet the aspirations of the Libyan people were also discussed.
