A drug and weapons store was seized in Emsaed

Tobrok, May 23, 2024 (LANA) - The Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Agency, Tobrok branch, announced today, Thursday, the seizure of a drug and weapons store in Emsaed, east of the city.

According to the agency, the Narcotics Control Unit received information indicating that a person was using the warehouse for suspicious activities, noting that field teams immediately raided the warehouse and  seized 50 cartons of cigarettes prepared for smuggling, and discovered that the warehouse was being used to store drugs and weapons.

The necessary legal measures were taken against the perpetrator, documenting and seizing the seized items, and referring the case to the competent authorities to follow up on investigations and complete legal procedures.
