Tripoli, May 20, 2024 (LANA) - President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, offered his condolences on the death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash yesterday, Sunday.

Al-Manfi said in a tweet posted on his account on the X platform (Sincere condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the leadership and people, on the death of President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and their companions who passed away following a painful accident. We pray to God Almighty for their mercy and for their honorable families patience and solace.)
