Tobrok, May 16, 2024 (LANA) - Members of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Branch in the city of Tobrok were able to arrest a Libyan citizen in possession of about (32) and a half kilograms of hashish.
The head of the agency reported that after receiving source information to the branch that the so-called (S.M.A.), residing in the city of Tobrok, possessed, sold and promoted the drug hashish, an elaborate ambush was prepared for the accused, and a rest-house in which he lived in the Al-Zoqm neighborhood in the city of Tobrok was raided after obtaining the permission of the Public Prosecution.
About one hundred and eighty-two pieces of narcotic drugs, equivalent to thirty-two and a half kilograms of hashish, were seized from his possession.
