Jerusalem, April 13, 2024 (LANA) - Thousands of Palestinian people performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied Jerusalem, despite the strict Zionist occupation measures imposed on the city and its surroundings.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said that 30,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers yesterday in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The occupation forces prevented thousands of worshipers coming from the West Bank from entering to perform Friday prayers. They also imposed restrictions on the entry of worshipers into the mosque, checked the identities of young men at the entrances to the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and prevented a number of them from entering.
