Tripoli, February 3, 2024 (Lana): Director General of the Media Support Fund in Tripoli, Ali Ashour, discussed with the General Coordinator of the Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ali Bajankel, and his accompanying delegation prospects for cooperation in the areas of the Fund’s work regarding training and developing journalists.

During the meeting that was held at the Fund’s headquarters in Tripoli, Ashour presented a summary of the Fund and its tasks, reviewed its work from the last period, and reviewed the training work plan that it seeks to implement for the media segment.

For his part, Bajankel expressed the agency’s desire to build sustainable cooperation relations and effective partnerships with the Fund on a strong basis that meet the actual needs of Libyan media professionals.

Bajankel stressed the agency’s readiness to provide all support and cooperation to achieve joint aims and enhance media capabilities in different media specializations within the framework of the agency’s work related to areas of project development, capacity and competency development, and exchange of experiences, and in support of cooperation relations between Libya and Turkey.
