Libyan Ambassador to Turkey discusses obstacles facing Libyans residing in Turkey.

Istanbul 24 January 2024 (Lana) Libyan Ambassador to Turkey, Mostafa Al-Qalib, discussed with a number of Libyan community residing in Turkey, problems and difficulties facing Libyans in Turkey at all levels, including difficulties of obtaining and renewing residency, studying, treatment, judicial files, and deportation.

This came during a meeting held in the presence of the Consul General at the Consulate General in Istanbul, Salah Al-Kasih, the Director of the Immigration and Expatriate Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Muhammad Al-Maaloul, his deputy, Omar Al-Ghannai, and a number of embassy and consulate employees.

Libyan Embassy in Ankara stated that members of the community agreed to hold a meeting during next week without the presence of Libyan mission to discuss mechanisms and steps that must be taken to elect a new committee for the community or give another opportunity for the previously elected committee.
