The League of Arab States welcomes Al-Manfi’s announcement that Libya will join the legal team to prosecute the Israeli occupation.

Cairo, January 22, 2024 (LANA) - The Arab League Council, at the delegate level, welcomed the announcement by the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, that the State of Libya would join the legal team to prosecute the Israeli occupation for its violations against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
This came during the Council’s meeting today, Monday, in its extraordinary session, in the presence of Libya’s permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Abdulmutallab Thabet, to discuss Israeli crimes and plans against the Palestinian people, based on the request of the State of Palestine and the support of all member states.
The League Council affirmed all its previous decisions regarding supporting the Palestinian issue as it is the central issue of the Arab nation.
