Dbaiba: strengthen cooperation in localizing treatment at home.

  Tripoli, January 20, 2024 (LANA) - Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dbaiba, stressed today, Saturday, the need to strengthen cooperation in localizing treatment at home and training Libyan medical competencies, especially in light of the designation of the year 2024 as the Year of Health.

In his speech at the closing ceremony of the activities of the 21st conference of the Libyan Society of Surgeons, Al-Dbaiba praised the efforts made to localize treatment at home and facilitate the treatment of patients abroad, according to the Prime Minister’s Media Office.

At the conclusion of the celebration, the Prime Minister honored a number of doctors, surgeons and consultants participating in the conference of the Libyan Society of Surgeons, which lasted for three consecutive days.

During the days of the conference, according to the media office, a number of major surgical operations in various specialties were carried out at the Misrata Medical Center, in cooperation between visiting doctors and national expertise.
