Dbeibah receives heads of the Olympic committees in North African countries.

Tripoli, January 8, 2024 (Lana): The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, received yesterday the heads of the African National Olympic Committees in the first region.

Dbeibah affirmed his support for cooperation between the Arab Olympic Committees and holding regular meetings to unify efforts, commending the efforts of the Libyan Olympic Committee to hold the first meeting of the first region in Tripoli.

Dbeibah stressed Libya’s readiness to organize any African sports event and provide the necessary support for the Ministry of Sports and the Libyan Olympic Committee.

The first meeting of the first region was participated by the Libyan, Tunisian, Mauritanian, and Algerian Olympic Committees.

According to the PM’s communication office, the meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports for Club Affairs, Jamal Abu Nawara, and the Head of the Libyan Olympic Committee, Jamal Al-Zarrouk.
