Al-Khoms Security Directorate: Arrest of a network of expatriate workers involved in drug trafficking.

Al-Khoms, January 7, 2024 (Lana) Al-Khoms Security Directorate arrested a network of expatriate workers of different African nationalities who were using and trading drugs (hashish) and practicing immorality inside a house in the Al-Maqula locality in Souq Al-Khamis area.
The directorate explained in a statement that this network, which consists of 11 people—six women and five men—was arrested by investigation members of the Criminal Investigation Department.
The Directorate confirmed that the defendants confessed during their investigation to what was attributed to them and that they had entered Libyan territory secretly and without legal procedures.
Al-Khoms Security Directorate warned that citizens should be careful not to accommodate expatriate workers without taking legal measures that violate the law.
