Border Guards conduct patrols on the borders with Algeria and Tunisia.

Tripoli, January 05, 2024 (LANA) - The Border Guard conducted desert patrols that included the Al-Hattaba border area with Tunisia, passing through the border triangle with the countries of Algeria and Tunisia, reaching the sand dune area.
The desert patrols of the Ghadames Border Security Sector also began carrying out their tasks to protect the borders and prevent organized crime, smuggling and illegal immigration.
These efforts come in implementation of the security plan issued by the agency regarding protecting borders and combating illegal immigration and smuggling, and on instructions from the head of the agency, Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Marhani.
