Hammad meets with the mayors of more than 20 municipalities.

Benghazi, January 04, 2024  (LANA) - The head of the Libyan government designated by the House of Representatives, Osama Hammad, met yesterday, Thursday, at the Prime Minister’s Office in the city of Benghazi, with the mayors of more than (20) municipalities of the Libyan coast and the municipalities of the Western Mountain in the western region.

According to the Libyan newspaper Al-Anbaa, the Prime Minister of the Libyan government welcomed the mayors and listened to the explanations they provided to him about the difficulties and obstacles they face in conducting business in their municipalities.

Hammad issued instructions to the Council of Ministers regarding working to address the problems of municipalities and disbursing the necessary financial support to them in order to overcome the difficulties that hinder their work, pledging to provide the necessary support for projects that meet the needs of municipalities as soon as possible.
