Cairo, January 05, 2024  (LANA) - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conventions, Essam Al-Auwl, discussed with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conventions in Egypt, Major General Sherif Al-Mawardi, ways to enhance the prospects for cooperation in the fields of exhibitions, conferences, training and development between the two countries.

The Ministry of Economy and Trade stated that the two sides discussed during the meeting held at the Cairo International Conference Center the necessary preparations and arrangements for the participation of Egyptian companies in the Tripoli International Fair, scheduled to be held in May 2024 in its 50th session.

Al-Auwl stressed the importance of the participation of Egyptian companies, which gives them the opportunity to create a real partnership with Libyan companies and opens horizons for them to enter the Libyan market, noting that the Ministry of Economy and Trade, through the relevant departments and its affiliated bodies, aims to strengthen economic and commercial relations and investment opportunities between the two countries.
