Tripoli, January 1, 2024 (Lana) The UN Envoy to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, reiterated yesterday his call for the Libyan leaders to engage in a constructive dialogue and make the promise of elections a reality.
Bathily said on UNSMIL’s Facebook page,” May 2024 be the year the voices of Libyan people are heard, demands honored, and aspirations fulfilled.”
“I reiterated my call for the Libyan leaders to prioritize the needs of their people above all else, come together, engage in a constructive dialogue, and make the promise of elections a reality,” Bathily said.
“The time for action is now, so seize the opportunity to unite, build trust, and pave the way for a brighter future for all Libyans,” he added.
