Tripoli, December 31, 2023 (LANA) - The Chairman of the Council of the High National Elections Commission, “Imad Al-Sayeh,” discussed today, Sunday, with a delegation from the political forces in Fezzan, strengthening consultation on preparations for the upcoming elections, in the presence of Council member, “Abu Bakr Marada.”

The Commission's media office stated that the meeting dealt with reviewing the questions of the people of the Wadi Fezzan related to the process of electing municipal councils, and exchanging views and opinions on how to improve the electoral process to ensure effective participation and transparency in the vote.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation affirmed, according to the media office, their full support for the efforts of the Commission, praising the efforts being made for the success of the electoral process.
