For the second year in a row, a former director of the Libyan News Agency wins the State Appreciation Award for Journalism.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, December 25, 2023 (LANA) - Yesterday evening, the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, handed over the State Appreciation Award for Journalism to the journalist, Mahmoud Al-Bousaifi, in the ceremony held at the Rixos Hall in Tripoli on the occasion of the commemoration of the 72nd anniversary of Libya’s independence, and the Tripoli Media Days. .
Al-Bousaifi was crowned with this award, which is granted for the second year in a row, and in its second edition, to a journalist who began his professional career at the Libyan News Agency and served as its general director, just like the journalist Bashir Zoubia, who was honored with this award in its first edition and who began his career in the Libyan News Agency and also served as its general director.
Al-Bousaifi began his journalistic career in the first half of the 1970s with the Libyan News Agency, as a delegate and editor, and worked as a correspondent for the agency in Egypt, Syria, the Emirates, and Kuwait.
Many Libyan political, social and media figures attended the honoring of “Al-Bousaifi”.
