Tripoli, December 20, 2023 (LANA) - Head of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, met in Tripoli today, Wednesday, with the American envoy, Richard Norland, and the Charge d'Affairs of the American Embassy, Jeremy Brent.
In a tweet on his account on the X platform, Norland described the meeting as good.
Norland added: “During the meeting, we stressed the vital role of the High Council of State in supporting progress towards successful national elections and the importance of all parties participating constructively in the preparatory talks for the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.”
