Minister of Transportation meets with Tunisian Minister of Housing.

Tripoli, December 20, 2023  (LANA) - The Minister of Transportation of the National Unity Government, “Mohamed Al-Shahoubi,” met today, Wednesday morning, in Tripoli with the Minister of Housing and Equipment of the Tunisian Republic, “Sarah Zaafarani Al-Zanzri.”

     The Ministry of Transportation stated that the meeting discussed the technical and financial situation of companies working on coastal road projects, as well as the issue of debts owed to Tunisian companies operating in Libya, and research into facilitating their work and the obstacles they face in some projects on the coastal road.

     The Ministry added that some of the companies accompanying the Minister provided an overview of the work they are carrying out and they have the desire to work and enter the Libyan market in building and construction, explaining that Al-Shahoubi, promised the Tunisian Minister to facilitate finding a mechanism to help these companies enter the Libyan market.
