Signing of a memorandum of cooperation in the area of meteorology between Libya and Morocco.

Tripoli 20 December 2023 (Lana) National Meteorological Center and the Moroccan General Meteorological Directorate signed yesterday in Tripoli a memorandum of understanding for technical and technological cooperation between them.
The center stated that the memorandum came out for the reason that cooperation in the areas of meteorology is capable of contributing to economic and social development between Libya and Morocco.
The center added that the cooperation memorandum aims to exchange experiences and strengthen the competencies of human resources with regard to the field of operation, research, and development in the areas of meteorology and climate, due to the remarkable development witnessed by the Moroccan General Meteorological Directorate and its extensive experience in these areas.
