Al-Ghawi: The plan to restore life aims to achieve sustainable development in Libya.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, December 19, 2023 (LANA) - The Minister of Housing and Construction of the National Unity Government, Abu Bakr Al-Ghawi, said that the plan to restore life launched by the government aims to achieve sustainable development in Libya and focuses on several aspects, including the economy, infrastructure, public services, and social stability.
Al-Ghawi added in his speech during the fortieth session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction and the Fifth Arab Ministerial Forum for Housing and Urban Development that the plan to restore life aims to stimulate economic growth and revitalize vital sectors and includes enhancing investment, creating new job opportunities, and diversifying sources of income, and by strengthening the economy, it is possible to Libya can achieve financial and economic stability, which in turn promotes sustainable development.
The return to life plan also focuses on developing the infrastructure in the country, including transportation, roads, and public facilities by improving the infrastructure, access to basic services such as water, sanitation, and electricity is enhanced, and communication between different regions of the country is enhanced, and this contributes to improving the quality of life and creating an environment conducive to sustainable development.
Al-Ghawi explained that the third plan aims to provide basic public services to citizens, such as education, health care, and housing, and by providing these services in a general and equal manner, social development can be promoted and contribute to improving the standard of life for citizens and achieving social justice.
Al-Ghawi expressed his aspiration to exchange experiences, discuss common challenges, and formulate important recommendations from the forum.
