Ministry of Transportation and the Italian Civil Aviation Authority sign an agreement to raise the efficiency of civil aviation personnel.

Tripoli, December 18, 2023 (Lana): The Ministry of Transportation and Italian Civil Aviation signed an air transport agreement between the two countries and a memorandum of technical cooperation between civil aviation institutions, which will contribute to raising the efficiency and capacity of civil aviation personnel.

The agreement was signed yesterday by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transportation for Air Transport Affairs, Khaled Souissi, and the Head of the Italian Civil Aviation Authority, in the presence of representatives of the Presidency, the Italian Foreign Ministry, and the Italian Airlines company.

The Ministry of Transportation said that the agreement will open new horizons toward the return of air traffic to the EU’s countries and enable Libyan airlines to restore their presence in European markets.
