Meeting of the Interior’s Committee charged with studying Security Council resolutions related to illegal migration in Libya.

Tripoli, December 18, 2023 (Lana): A meeting was held yesterday in Tripoli, headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Affairs, Major General Mahmoud Saeed, and in the presence of a member of the Libyan Intelligence Service, a member of the Ministry of Defense, a member of the Internal Security Service, and a member of the Ministry of Justice.

The Ministry of Interior stated that the meeting discussed resolutions of the Security Council related to illegal migration in Libya, highlighting that this meeting comes in implementation of instructions from the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity about forming a committee and determining its duties in accordance with Resolution No. 536 of 2023.
