Al-Menfi reviews the results of the session of the preparatory committee for the national reconciliation conference.

Tripoli, December 16, 2023 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, received yesterday at the Council’s headquarters the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie, and Congolese Abroad, Jean-Claude Jacossou, and the African Union Advisor for National Reconciliation, Mohamed Al-Labbad.

The communication office of the PC stated that the delegation briefed Al-Menfi on the results of the session of the preparatory committee for the National Reconciliation Conference, which was held over the last two days in Sebha, and informed him that the committee’s members had determined the place and date of the conference, praising his role in facilitating many outstanding issues and advancing the reconciliation path.

For his part, Al-Menfi commended the role of the AU in supporting the reconciliation project, led by Libyans, stressing his support for everything that enables the achievement of a comprehensive reconciliation in which everyone participates.
