Tripoli, December 12, 2023 (LANA) - The Chairman of the Board of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, discussed today, Tuesday, with the Canadian Ambassador to Libya the latest developments in the course of the electoral process, and the level of readiness of the Commission to fulfill its responsibilities to accomplish the upcoming entitlements.
According to the Commission, the Canadian Ambassador praised the efforts made by the Election Commission in the framework of preparations for the municipal council elections scheduled to begin early next year, stressing the renewed support of her country’s government for efforts to complete the upcoming electoral elections.
