US Embassy: USAID provided pivotal support in developing the renewable energy strategy in Libya.

Tripoli, December 11, 2023 (LANA) - The representative of the United States Agency for International Development in Libya participated in the launch of the National Strategy for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in Libya.

The US Embassy explained on its Facebook page that the US Agency for International Development provided pivotal support in developing the strategy.

The embassy added that the United States Agency for International Development in Libya looks forward to deepening the partnership with the General Electricity Company, the Renewable Energy Agency, and the Ministry of Planning in the east, west, and south of the country to pave the way for a green, more environmentally and financially sustainable future.

Today, Monday in Tripoli, the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, launched the national strategy for renewable energies and energy efficiency, within the framework of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Planning and the United States Agency for International Development (LPFM).
