An official source told LANA: Postponement of the opening of the Al-Dabdab land crossing with Algeria

Ghadames, December 11, 2023 (LANA) - An official source in Ghadames reported to the Libyan News Agency that the opening of the Al-Dabdab land crossing with the Algerian side, which was scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, has been postponed.

The source attributed the postponement decision to completing the arrangements, procedures and technical measures for opening the crossing to limited movement from the Libyan and Algerian sides.

The responsible source did not mention any details about setting a new date for the opening of the crossing.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the National Unity Government announced the reopening of the Ghadames-Debdab border crossing with Algeria, to facilitate the movement of citizens from the two countries and commercial traffic, officially on Tuesday.
