Takala discusses with the Russian ambassador ways to advance the political process to hold elections

Tripoli, December 11, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, received on Monday the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Russia to Libya, Haider Aghanen.
The meeting, which was held at the Council’s headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, discussed political files at the regional and local levels, and ways to advance the political process and complete reaching a comprehensive consensus to end the transitional stages and hold elections.
The two sides discussed in the meeting deepening Libyan-Russian relations and ways to develop them, and emphasizing the continuation of dialogue and coordination between the two countries, with the aim of achieving common interests and building bridges of understanding and trust between them.
