Tripoli, December 6, 2023 (LANA) - The activities of the forty-seventh conference of Arab police and security leaders began this Wednesday morning in the Moroccan city of Tangier, with the participation of senior security officials in Libya and various Arab countries.

  According to the official Facebook page of the Tripoli Security Directorate, the Tripoli Security Director, Major General Khalil Wahiba, headed the Interior Ministry delegation to this conference, which discusses a number of important topics on the agenda, including the use of modern technology in terrorist crimes and organized crime, and a participatory coordination mechanism among Arab countries to ensure Treating injured police officers,

   The conference will also discuss the recommendations of the conferences of heads of security sectors and the meetings of committees held within the scope of the General Secretariat during the year 2023, and a report on the work of the Arab Police Sports Federation for the year 2023, in addition to reviewing some of the distinguished security experiences of some member states.

   It is noteworthy that this conference is attended by the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, the Counter-Terrorism and Criminal Justice Project, the European Union Law Enforcement Training Agency, and the Police Service. European Union, the African Union for Police Cooperation, the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and the Arab Police Sports Federation.
