After a hiatus for years.. the Spanish Embassy issues the first entry visa to a Libyan citizen from Tripoli

Tripoli, November 29, 2023 (LANA) - The Spanish Embassy in Libya announced, on Wednesday, the issuance of the first visa from its visa office in Tripoli, years after it stopped.
The embassy said in a statement that it is pleased with the progress achieved, which will enable Libyans to apply for entry visas to Spain and receive them in their country.
In mid-November, the Spanish Embassy opened its own office in Tripoli, to facilitate the procedures for Libyan citizens to obtain entry visas to Spain.
It is noteworthy that Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced during his visit to Libya in June 2021 the return of the Spanish embassy to resume its work in the capital, Tripoli.
