Congolese President commends the efforts of the Presidential Council to achieve stability.
Pulbished on:Equatorial Guinea, November 25, 2023 (Lana) President of Congo-Brazzaville, Denis Sassou Nguesso, Chairman of the High-Level African Committee on Libya, commended the efforts of the Presidential Council to achieve stability and the success of the national reconciliation project, which pave the way to holding the electoral entitlement.
This came during his meeting with the Deputy of the Presidential Council, Mousa Al-Koni, on the sidelines of the G10 summit of the African Union on the UN Security Council, held in Equatorial Guinea.
Al-Koni stressed the council’s commitment to the success of the reconciliation project and to supporting the electoral path that the Libyan people aspire to.
The African Union called for more support in coordination with the UN and the international partners to help Libya achieve stability that will reflect on the region and Africa in general.
According to the communication office of the council, the meeting discussed the latest political developments in Libya and ways to support the council’s efforts to achieve stability.
