Al-Hawaij: the government seeks to develop trade relations with Greece.

Tripoli, November 24, 2023  (LANA) - The Minister of Economy and Trade in the National Unity Government, “Mohamed Al-Hawaij,” confirmed the government’s desire to develop trade relations with Greece.

This came during his meeting with a number of Greek business owners and companies wishing to enter the labor market in Libya, according to what the Ministry published on its official Facebook page.

Al-Hawaij pointed out that the national unity government seeks to develop trade relations between the private sector in the two countries and enhance its role in implementing the ministry’s plan towards transitioning, to a knowledge economy and mutual benefit through a true partnership in areas of common interest.

He added that the Ministry of Economy provides the necessary facilities and support in registering companies and trademarks and approving investment projects under the supervision of the General Authority for investment promotion and privatization affairs affiliated with the Ministry.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to organize an expanded meeting includes business owners and companies from both countries under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy and Trade.
