Takala discusses with the British Ambassador developments in the political process in Libya.

Tripoli, November 23, 2023 (LANA) - President of the Supreme Council of State, Mohamed Takala, received on Wednesday the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, at the Council’s headquarters in the capital, Tripoli.
At the beginning of the meeting, Takila welcomed the new British ambassador, wishing him success in his high duties, and stressing the depth of relations between the two countries.
According to the media office of the Supreme Council of State, the meeting discussed developments in the political process in Libya, the steps taken to end the transitional stages, and emphasized the need to complete reaching a national consensus that would lead to holding parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible.
