The General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs begins concluding contracts for accommodation, and transportation for Libyan pilgrims.

Jeddah, November 22, 2023 (LANA) - The General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs announced today, Wednesday, the arrival of its delegation to Saudi Arabia in order to conclude contracts for accommodation, and transportation for Libyan pilgrims for this year’s Hajj season.

The authority explained on its Facebook page that the members of the delegation began their work by holding intensive meetings at the headquarters of the Libyan Pilgrims Affairs Office in Jeddah to begin contracting procedures with the authorities concerned with accommodation, transportation, and pilgrims’ services in Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry added that these early measures come within the framework of the Authority’s keenness to choose the most appropriate and best offers to serve Libya’s pilgrims, especially since the Kingdom’s Ministry of Hajj had announced the early start of contracting procedures.

The Authority indicated that the stage of selecting offers and concluding contracts with the competent authorities will be attended by two committees, one of which is from the Administrative Control Authority, and the other from the Libyan Audit Bureau.
