UNICEF Libya celebrates World Children's Day

Tripoli, November 22, 2023 (LANA) - Today, Wednesday, UNICEF Libya held a celebration on the occasion of World Children’s Day in partnership with the General Authority for Arts, Culture and Theater.

The opening ceremony was attended by the UN envoy to Libya, Abdullah Batili, and the head of the General Authority for Arts and Culture, Abdul Basset Bouqanda.

The organization said that this ceremony highlights the urgency and importance of addressing children’s issues in today’s complex world, and it is a day that is remembered for providing the best for the future of children and protecting their rights.
